Gist : Etisalat Officially Announces 9mobile As New Name, Unveils New Logo

Etisalat Nigeria has officially changed its name to 9Mobile following exit fromthe Nigerian market.Following the exit of the Etisalat brand from the country, the international company had given a three week deadline to change the brand name andthe new management have complied and changed the name to 9Mobile.

An insider had on Friday said the board had approved the name change, but had yet to make it official.

The mobile network’s official Twitter account announced the change, unveiling the brand’s logo and its colours.
